Ash Preservation and Forest Management in Response to Emerald Ash Borer Field Tour

Women on the Land will hold an Ash Preservation and Forest Management in Response to Emerald Ash Borer Field Tour in New Salem, MA on Saturday, October 24^th from 10 am to Noon.

The Field Tour is a followup to the Ash Preservation and Forest Management in Response to Emerald Ash Borer webinar being held on October 14th.

The Field Tour will visit a Monitoring and Managing Ash (MaMA) citizen science plot in New Salem, Massachusetts. DCR Forester Helen Johnson will explain how the project works towards identifying lingering ash trees to support conservation efforts.
