The annual spring migration of many bird species allows nature lovers to witness many species in a short time.
On Sunday, June 2nd, the Mass Forest Alliance and Mass Wildlife are holding a Migratory Bird Walk at the Mass Wildlife’s Leyden Wildlife Management Area on East Glen Road in Leyden from 7:30 am to 10:30 am.
The Leyden WMA is managed to provide a diversity of habitats for grassland and woodland bird species. Sunday’s Bird walk will visit different areas of habitat, allowing participants to hear and see many different migrating species.

Participants should plan to arrive prior to 7:30 so the walk can start on time.
Participants should bring binoculars, wear long pants, closed toed shoes and insect repellent and tick spray.
