A Massachusetts Land Conservation Conference webinar on Approaching Forest Health Threats in a Changing Climate will be held on April 20th at noon.
Nicole Keleher from the Forest Health Program of DCR will discuss the influence climate change has on forest pests and diseases. The multifaceted impacts of climate change will directly and indirectly threaten the health of Massachusetts forests.
Topics covered will include the altered outbreak cycles of our current threats, susceptibility to new invaders, and the challenges of management and mitigation actions with changing conditions.
