DCR’s Forest Health Program will hold a series of 6 Winter Webinars in December on current forest health threats in Massachusetts.
The second webinar will be on Beech Leaf Disease on Thursday, December 3rd from 7 – 8 p.m.
DCR Forest Health Director, Nicole Keleher, will discuss the latest identified threat to Massachusetts forests’, Beech Leaf Disease. She will discuss what beech leaf disease is, how to identify, and what survey work is being done. Additionally, shee will talk about look alike damage and other pests and diseases of beech species.
Professional credits will be available for MCA and ISA CEUs, as well as, 1 contact hour credit for Massachusetts pesticide categories 35, 36, and applicator’s license.
The webinar is open to all and free of charge, but space is limited.
