UNH Extension and the Southeast Land Trust of New Hampshire will hold a Bird ID & Ecology in Old field, Wetland, and Forest Habitats workshop on August 5th from 7 to 10:30 am at SELT’s Burley Farms in Epping, NH

Matthew Tarr,  Extension Professor & State Wildlife Habitat Specialist, and SELT will lead a free guided birding walk through or near shrubby old-fields, a beaver wetland, and mature forest habitats.

Participants will learn to identify birds by sight and sound.

The workshop will be held outdoors at SELT’s Burley Farms in Epping and include a slow-paced off-trail walk over moderate terrain, with many stops for discussion. Birders of all skill level welcome.

Registration for this workshop is required.  To register, go to https://extension.unh.edu/event/2022/08/bird-id-ecology-old-field-wetland-forest-habitats?utm_source=AdaptiveMailer&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Foresters&org=785&lvl=100&ite=20950&lea=2176478&ctr=0&par=1&trk=a0W6f00000XX5AIEA1
