This webinar by Dr. Stephanie Chizmar and Dr. Rajan Parajuli from NC State Extension Forestry, will introduce carbon offset credits and markets with an emphasis on forest carbon offset projects in the United States. The presentation will define carbon offsets and forest management practices that qualify for offset projects.
The webinar will walk-through the steps to developing a forest carbon project whose offset credits are traded in the voluntary and compliance markets. The webinar will also cover emerging programs and current trends in forest carbon offset programs.
