Chapter 132 workshop

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation will hold 11 Chapter 132 training workshops for timber harvesters around the state between June 1^st and June 14^th.  Each workshop will qualify for 3 Mass. Timber Harvester Licensing Credits and meet the requirement for training in Chapter 132.

A Chapter 132 Timber Harvester workshop will be held at Holiday Brook Farm in Dalton on June 1^st from 1 to 4 pm.

This workshop will include tours of clean wood chip boiler operation & maple syrup operation followed by a woods walk discussing BMPs, forest regeneration, forest pests, and more.

Due to space limitations, workshop attendance is limited to 40.  To take part in this workshop, register by either calling Peter Grima at 413 212-2152 or emailing peter.grima@state.ma.us and let him know how many plan to attend.
