Chapter 132 workshop

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation will hold 11 Chapter 132 training workshops for timber harvesters around the state between June 1^st and June 14^th.  Each workshop will qualify for 3 Mass. Timber Harvester Licensing Credits and meet the requirement for training in Chapter 132.

A Chapter 132 Timber Harvester workshop will be held at Townsend Public Library on June 2^nd from Noon to 3 pm.

This workshop will include a review of Massachusetts Forestry BMP’s and Forest Cutting Plan Requirements, an  Update from DCR Forest Health (Felicia Hubacz), a review of Massachusetts Land Use History, and a discussion about how to Use MassMapper
