The Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation will hold 11 Chapter 132 training workshops for timber harvesters around the state between June 1st and June 14th. Each workshop will qualify for 3 Mass. Timber Harvester Licensing Credits and meet the requirement for training in Chapter 132.
A Chapter 132 Timber Harvester workshop will be held at Justin McKinney’s farm at 625 Coy Hill Road in Warren on June 5th from Noon to 3 pm.
This workshop will discuss Best Management Practices for Invasive Plants and Insects by Jacob Seidel, An Update on NRCS Restrictions and Discussion of Endangered Bats from Michelle Cozine – NRCS State Biologist, and a tour of Justin’s Management of his property w/Timberpro Combo
