The Department of Conservation & Recreation”s Service Forestry Program will hold 10 Chapter 132 workshops for licensed timber harvesters between June 3rd and June 27th. The workshops will provide training in the Forest Cutting Practices regulations under Chapter 132 that is required for harvesters to maintain their licenses.
Each workshop will have review the Chapter 132 Rules & Regulations and provide updates
A Chapter 132 workshop will be held at the Polish American Citizens Club in South Deerfield on June 14th from 3 to 6 pm.
This workshop will discuss Chapter 132 regulations, expectations, and lessons learned through Forest Cutting Practices case studies, as well as an introduction to forest carbon
