The Connecticut Professional Timber Producers Association will hold an all day Commercial Trucking Update Workshop at Tri-State Kenworth in Enfield, CT on April 14th from 9 am to 4:30 pm.

If you operate a commercial motor vehicle in Connecticut, this program is for you.  Whether you operate one truck or a fleet, intrastate or interstate, you will find valuable information in this program.

Experts in the transportation field will provide information on the new Electronic Logging Device regulations, CDL compliance, Federal and state motor carrier regulations, how to build a strong compliance program, record keeping, commercial auto insurance considerations and more.

An inspector from Connecticut DMV’s Commercial Vehicle Safety Division will spend a couple hours reviewing key aspects of truck safety, including what to expect during a level 1 inspection, and common compliance issues including tie-down rules for moving heavy equipment.  A tractor, trailer and equipment will be available for hands-on education.

This program is free for members of the CT Professional Timber Producers Association, Cost is $55 for non-members, $65 for late registrations & walk-ins.
