Do you want to make sure that there is enough forestland to manage in the future? Without some minimal estate planning on the part of landowners, the likelihood of your clients’ lands getting divided and eventually developed is very high.

Franklin Land Trust is holding a Conservation-based Estate Planning for Foresters: Why and What YOU Need To Know About Estate Planning workshop at Meekins Library on Route 9 in Williamsburg on April 25th beginning at 5:15 pm.

Come learn what tools are available to landowners and why your role and knowledge of their land can help them make an informed decision. Find out about land ownership and transfer tools, and strategies for keeping forestland as forestland in the future. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions of a local estate planning attorney.

Pizza will be served.

This program has been rated for CFEs.

RSVP to Wendy Ferris at wferris@franklinlandtrust.org or call (413) 625-9151.
