The Natural Resource Conservation Service will hold a Considerations in the Establishment & Maintenance of a Silvopasture System webinar on February 28th at 2 pm EST. Silvopasture is NRCS’s Conservation Practice Standard 381.

William Byrum from NRCS’ National Technology Support Center and Katherine MacFarland from USDA’s National Agroforestry Center will describe in detail what is Silvopasture and what it is not and discuss the key steps and considerations in the establishment and maintenance of a Silvopasture System. The Standard, Planning Criteria and CART process will be highlighted.
