The New Jersey Forestry Association will hold a 90 minute Exploring Conservation & Proforestation Options for NJ Forests webinar on July 21st from 7 to 8:30 pm EDT
This program will consist of listening to a recorded presentation from the New Jersey Forestry Task Force. . The presentation covers a broad range of topics, but focuses on the place of passive management in our stewardship of forests.
Presenters include:
- William Moomaw, PhD: William Moomaw is Professor Emeritus, Tufts University
- Ed Faison, PhD: Senior Ecologist, Highstead Foundation
- Tony D’Amato, PhD: Professor of Silviculture and Applied Forest Ecology and Director of the Forestry Program at the University of Vermont
- William Keeton, PhD: Professor of Forest Ecology and Forestry at the University of Vermont’s (UVM) Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources
