The 2022 Forest Alliance Annual Meeting will be held online the morning of Saturday, October 29th, from 10 am – noon.
The Annual Meeting will feature presentations about how to manage for softwood diseases and a presentation about how a western Massachusetts landowner is building an ocean-going sailboat using native woods in the Acorn to Arabella project.
The meeting will also include the presentation of the 2022 awards for Wood Producer of the Year, Forester of the Year, Friend of Forestry, and Forest Stewardship.
Attendees at the virtual meeting will qualify for 1.0 Massachusetts Forester Licensing credit, 1.5 SAF Continuing Forestry Education credits, 1.0 Connecticut Forest Practitioner CEUs, and 2 Massachusetts Timber Harvester credits.
The meeting will be held online via Zoom, and is free of charge, thanks to generous sponsorship from Farm Credit East and Barry Equipment.
