Game of Logging Level 1 workshop

Vermont LEAP will hold a Game of Logging Level 1 workshop on October 12^th from 8 am to 4 pm in Wardsboro, VT

Safe tree-harvesting work depends on a strong foundation, this is the most important training an operator can complete before working with a chainsaw.

Level 1 introduces essential topics such as personal protective equipment, mechanized safety, chainsaw safety features, and reactive forces. It then gently guides into open-face felling, covering pre-planning the cut, bore cutting, and understanding hinge-wood strength, all aimed at ensuring a controlled and predictable drop.

Cost of this workshop is $175/person.
