Game of Logging Level 1 workshop

Cornell Extension of Warren County will hold a Game of Logging Level 1 workshop on April 27^th from 7:30 am to 5 pm at the Flint property in Middle Grove, NY

Game of Logging’s Level 1 training focuses on introducing the participant to open face felling and the development of techniques to safely use it.  Topics covered include personal protective equipment, chainsaw safety features, chainsaw reactive forces, bore cutting, pre-planning the fell, and understanding hinge wood strength.

Thanks to support from International Paper, cost of this workshop is only $45 per person.

Participants must bring a chainsaw and safety equipment (hard hat, eye protection, hearing protection, chaps and steel toed boots).

The workshop will be held rain or shine.
