The Connecticut Professional Timber Producers Association will hold a Seminar on Lubrication Fundamentals at the Session Woods WMA Conservation Center in Burlington, CT on Wednesday, August 2nd, from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

The seminar will discuss engine oil specifications, different types of grease, grades of hydraulic oil, and how to lubricate different machinery.

The seminar will be presented by Jim Carroll, Vice President of Technical Services for Schaeffer Manufacturing.  Carroll is a certified lubrication specialist.

 

Schedule:

8:30 – 9:30 am                      Current Engine Oil Specifications update

9:45 – 10:45 am                    Grease 101: Is there Really a Difference?

11 am – noon                       Hydraulic Oils in Forestry

Noon                                      Lunch  (provided by Schaeffer Oil)

12:45 – 1:30 pm                    Lubrication Demo: penetrant, grease, engine oil, hydraulic oil, bar & chain oils

 

This program has been approved for 1 CT Forestry CEU

Cost to attend is free from Timpro members, $25 for non-members before July 29th, $35 for walk-ins and late registration.
