The Plainfield Tree Alliance will hold a discussion on Minding and Maintaining Street Trees: the Community’s Role featuring a conversation with 4 area tree wardens, at the Plainfield Town Hall on Thursday, January 17th from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The Plainfield Tree Alliance works to preserve mature trees in Plainfield, to replant trees that are removed, and ensure that wood from public shade trees that are removed is put to good use.

The program on the 17th will begin with a potluck supper (bring a dish) at 6 p.m.

The program will then feature a discussion with local tree wardens, including:

Winton Pitcoff of Plainfield

Ben Brown of Worthington

Bob Goss of Goshen, and

Chris Ryan of South Hadley
