Project Learning Tree workshop @ Regatta Point, Quinsigamond State Park

Massachusetts Project Learning Tree will hold  Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood and Project Learning Tree’s classic PreK-8 Curriculum workshops for Out of School Time and Early Childhood educators on Monday, February 20th, from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.,at the Regatta Point Conference Room, Quinsigamond State Park, 10 North Lake Avenue, Worcester, MA.

Oriented toward people who work with PreK – Grade 5 , this workshop is perfect for out-of-school-time and early childhood educators.

Project Learning Tree’s “hands-on minds-on” activities pique curiosity, build vocabulary, sharpen thinking, and engage children in the natural world.  They connect with subjects across the curriculum and are flexible for educators.

Participants can model, discuss and apply PLT’s activities to their teaching situation.  Workshop will focus on PreK – Grade 5, but all educators are welcome.

Cost of the workshops is $36 per person.  Each participant will receive PLT’s classic PreK-8 curriculum guide and the Early Childhood Experiences module with activities and supporting materials.  Workshop is at a convenient location with free on-site parking.

For questions or to pre-register by February 14, please call 413/584-6788 or email Gini.Traub@state.ma.us
