Wood Works will hold an in-person Tour of Bunker Hill Housing Redevelopment Building F on September 10th from 3 to 4 pm EDT.

This tour will go behind the scenes of Building F at the Bunker Hill Housing Redevelopment—an innovative, nine-story mass timber project spanning 273,000 square feet. During this exclusive educational tour, members of the project team will reveal how cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels and cold-formed steel (CFS) bearing walls were combined to create sustainable, biophilic housing for residents.

This unique educational event will provide an in-depth look at Bunker Hill Housing Redevelopment’s Building F. Designers of the 9-story, 273,000 sf building utilized CLT panels on CFS bearing walls to create a sustainable and biophilic project for the building’s tenants. Attendees will tour the site with members of the project team, who will share strategies for successful, cost-effective, code-compliant tall mass timber projects, including insight on design, detailing, and construction techniques utilized throughout the building. The tour format encourages questions and discussion, and attendees can expect to leave with insights on the project’s design, execution, and factors that influenced material and detail selection.

Following the tour join us for a networking happy hour at nearby Brewer’s Fork from 4:00-6:00 pm.

PPE: This is an active jobsite; attendees are required to wear PPE (Safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses) and sturdy hard-soled flat shoes. A limited number of loaner PPE will be available to those who need it – please indicate this on your registration.

Cost of this tour is $20 per person.  To take part in the tour, register at
