Tree Identification at Barton Cove program

Forests are communities that can seem like a bunch of nondescript strangers until you get to know them.

The Northfield Mountain Environmental Center will hold a Tree Identification at Barton Cove program on Saturday, October 3^rd, from 1 – 3 p.m.

This class by DCR’s Helen Johnson & Joelle Vatour will help participants learn how to tell them apart and start getting to know their personalities, using multiple characteristics so that you will be able to identify them even when they aren’t dressed up in leaves.

This program meets at Barton Cove Day Use Area located at 55 Barton Cove Road in Gill, MA.

No registration is required. It’s free
