The Pennsylvania Biomass Energy Association will hold a Wood Boiler Operators Workshop at Kane Hardwoods in Kane PA on Tuesday, June 20th, from 9 am to 3 pm

 This workshop is for facility managers who would like to explore alternatives to the use of oil and gas in generating heat and energy. The workshop will show how biomass boilers work and how to manage them well.

Classroom topics include: combustion basics, combustion control systems, how to improve efficiency, a review of Boiler MACT compliance regulations and sharing experiences between the different boiler operators present.

As a part of the workshop and tour, attendees will be guided through an actual boiler tuning using the boiler on site. Lunch will be provided.
