Forest Cutting Practices Workshop for Licensed Harvesters

The Department of Conservation & Recreation will hold a Forest Cutting Practices workshop for licensed timber harvesters at the Lunenburg Public Library on June 19^th from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The workshop will include a forestry BMP Boot Camp with presentations by Felicia Hubacz from the ALB program, Rebekah Zimmerer from NHESP, and Sean Mahoney from the Markets & Utilization program.

This workshop will meet the requirement that harvesters must take a 3-hour refresher on Massachusetts forestry laws and regulations at least once every 3 years.
