Forest Cutting Practices Workshop for Licensed Harvesters

The Department of Conservation & Recreation will hold a Forest Cutting Practices workshop for licensed timber harvesters at the Old Barn at Myles Standish State Forest in South Carver on June 18^th from 3 to 6 p.m.

The workshop will include a management forestry update & field tour and a presentation on Ticks, Ticks & More Ticks by Larry Dapsis from Cape Cod Cooperative Extension.

This workshop will meet the requirement that harvesters must take a 3-hour refresher on Massachusetts forestry laws and regulations at least once every 3 years.
