The Department of Conservation & Recreation will hold a Forest Cutting Practices workshop for licensed timber harvesters at the Buckland Shelburne Community Center in Shelburne Falls on June 13th from 1 to 4 p.m.
The workshop will include a review of the use of BMPs in harvesting, as well as an update on Forest Health and Markets & Utilization.
This workshop will meet the requirement that harvesters must take a 3-hour refresher on Massachusetts forestry laws and regulations at least once every 3 years.
